Kevin Marsh is a candidate for the Idaho House of Representatives in District 26, representing Blaine, Jerome, and Lincoln Counties.

A farmer, historian, and former wildland firefighter, Marsh brings more than thirty years of public service to his campaign. Earlier in his career, he served as a wildland firefighter and Forest Service ranger, gaining firsthand knowledge of the public lands that define District 26's economy and way of life. He then spent more than two decades as a professor of American and Idaho history at Idaho State University – where he was twice recognized with the Outstanding Public Service Award – and also taught at Boise State University and the University of Idaho. He and his wife Erika now operate Daisy's Farm near Bellevue, growing produce and hay for local markets.

As one of Idaho's leading historians of water and land, Marsh was appointed state scholar for the Smithsonian's WaterWays exhibit in 2016, delivering the keynote address in communities across Idaho.

He is running on a platform of protecting Idaho's water and public lands, strengthening rural schools, and delivering practical, community-rooted leadership to the Idaho Statehouse.
